I'm a senior citizen and native Floridian . . . born in Miami, raised in Tampa, and a resident of Lakeland (Polk County) since 1979. Brewster was a small company owned mining town in the heart of the Florida phosphate and citrus industry. It broke my heart when the town was shut down and disappeared forever.
